For this Halloween assignment, I had to save a picture of a pumpkin that I would use for my jack o lantern. I used the magnetic lasso to remove the background of the pumpkin so I would only be left with the pumpkin itself. Then, I used the pen tool to create the shapes for the face like the triangles and the rectangles. Once that was done, I changed the layer style for each of the shapes to get the orange fire color inside. Finally, I used color to add a shadow to the bottom of the pumpkin.
In this assignment, we had to make flyers to advertise how to eat healthy. I decided to use a dunkin donuts box and add apples inside to replace the donuts. Here I had to use the magnetic lasso to get the box without the background, and I added an effect to the outside of the box. I used to food bank logo to add an effect to the outside of it as well. The title has effects on it, and so does the background of the flyer because of the gradient effect.

First marking period by Michelle Najera

In this assignment, I learned how to apply a texture to another object. I had to choose a texture that could go with the dress, and put the picture on top of it to cover it completely. But before then, I had to use the magnetic lasso around the dress. Then, I had to change the effect of the texture to make it look as good as possible.
